Guest Contributor Bio: Itchin’ for some Stitchin’

Hi, Everyone!

It is my pleasure to introduce you to a friend and fellow crochet designer, RaeLynn Endicott, of Itchin’ for some Stitchin’! I’m especially excited, not only because RaeLynn is AWESOME, but because she is the first guest designer ever on The Crafter Life!

RaeLynn shares patterns, tips, and techniques for crochet, sewing, and knitting on her blog. She makes everything easy to follow and beginner-friendly.

I just learned to sew last year through an online class and have been wanting to try a project on my own. I’m definitely going to start with RaeLynn’s tutorials! I love her Patriotic Coin Purse…and of course, her matching CROCHET STARS & STRIPES FOURTH OF JULY PURSE! If you are looking for a cute Fourth of July crochet pattern this summer, this is it!

I’m delighted to share a little more about RaeLynn with you…

RaeLynn is the crochet designer and blogger behind Itchin’ for some Stitchin’ where she provides beginner focused crochet, sewing, and knitting patterns, tutorials, tips, and general know how.

She is a self-taught stitcher who learned how to crochet and knit as part of her church’s Prayer Shawl Ministry eight years ago.  Around the same time, her husband bought RaeLynn her first sewing machine and her love of sewing was born!

RaeLynn not only has a passion for these wonderful hobbies, but she also has a love of teaching others how to do them as well, which is why she started her blog three years ago  – to provide others with the resources she struggled to find while learning to crochet, knit, and sew.

RaeLynn has only recently discovered a new love – crochet pattern design.  And because she is dedicated to beginners, all her patterns are as beginner-friendly as possible.

As a mother to four step-daughters and one rambunctious toddler, finding the time to design and blog can be challenging, but RaeLynn is up to the task!

Remember, if you are ever itchin’ for some stitchin’, make sure you check out RaeLynn’s blog! She is a very caring person and writes her awesome tutorials and patterns in such a reassuring and encouraging way, people of all ability levels will be able to understand and enjoy them.

Here is another of her amazing patterns. THE SIMPLY CHIC PLAID EAR WARMER. How cute is that?!
