Easy DIY Mickey Bucket
If you are looking for a last-minute accessory for a Mickey Mouse costume this Halloween, make this cute Mickey pail so your little one has a matching candy bucket when trick-or-treating! I made one for my son a few years ago when he dressed as Mickey Mouse for Halloween. This is so simple, you could even have your child make it himself/herself. It would be a fun craft for a young Mickey Mouse fan to do any time during the year. Below are the instructions if you or your child would like to make one.
MATERIALS
- Red Sand Bucket
- Yellow/White Cardstock
- Pencil
- Scissors/Safety Scissors (for child)
- Tape/Glue
DIRECTIONS
- Use a pencil to draw two large ovals on the cardstock. You could always draw one oval and then trace it to make sure both ovals are the same size.
- Cut the ovals out of the cardstock with your scissors.
- Tape or glue the ovals onto your bucket. Arrange them to look like Mickey Mouse’s buttons. I used double-sided tape meant for scrapbooking when I attached the ovals to my bucket.
That’s it! Now you are ready to use your Mickey bucket!
