Row 14: Ch 1, turn, sc2tog, sc2tog, fasten off and weave in loose ends on other side of work*. (2 sc2tog)

*After completing Row 14, turn work (this will be the back of the appliqué). Neatly weave in all of your loose ends on this side of work.

Edging of Candy Corn

*Use your 3.00 mm hook and same yellow, orange, and white yarn for the edging.

In order to give the candy corn a finished/polished look, single crochet evenly around its perimeter (outside of candy corn). Change color in the same manner you did for the body of the candy corn (join/pull through new color when completing the last step of the final sc in old color). Cut yarn after each color change.

***Once you finish weaving in all loose ends, your candy corn button-on appliqué is ready to be placed on a ½-inch orange button!

TIP: Press the appliqué with an iron using a press cloth for protection to help it lay flat and keep its shape.
