Wicked-Inspired Witch Legs Scarves Edition
I made Wicked-Inspired Witch Legs Scarves using my original Witch Legs Scarf Pattern prior to Halloween and the release of Wicked 2!! My daughters are already fighting over these scarves, so I’m planning to make a few more soon. Whip up some of these scarves for the Wicked fans in your life in time for the new movie release in November! Now you just have to decide whether you are “Team Elphaba” or “Team Glinda” – or maybe a little of both!! If you can’t pick a team, you could make the scarf so one side is Elphaba and the other is Glinda!

**You might not be able to tell in the picture, but I used metallic yarn for Glinda’s silver shoes so they actually sparkle!
For the Glinda-inspired scarf, I used Red Heart Super Saver yarn in Petal Pink for the main color, Mainstays Sparkle Acrylic Yarn in Platinum Sparkle for the shoes, and Big Twist Twinkle yarn in Light Pink for the laces. Make sure you add as many rows as needed for your desired length!
For the Elphaba-inspired scarf, I used Mainstays Acrylic Yarn in Green V for the main color and Red Heart Super Saver in Black for the shoes. I had to make a few extra rows in this scarf because it ended up sightly shorter than the Glinda-inspired scarf.
If you are interested in making a scarf so one side is Elphaba and the other is Glinda, make sure your scarf has an even number of rows, and do your color change at the halfway point (example: if your scarf has 160 rows, switch colors after Row 80 to complete the rest of the scarf in the opposite color). Follow the directions for the shoes as is written in my original pattern, making sure to use the correct color of shoe based on the leg color you to which you are attaching it (attach black yarn to the green side and silver sparkle yarn to the pink side when making the shoes).

I enjoyed making these scarves and I am actually planning to make two more scarves in different shades of green and pink. I really like the Big Twist Twinkle yarn in Light Pink as a main color for Glinda since it sparkles like a lot of Glinda’s clothes. I found that yarn at Michaels after I had already made the Glinda-inspired scarf.
